The Municipality of Agrinio has placed the care for the elderly high in its priorities. The institution of the Elderly Care Center (KAPI) has always been supported by our Municipal Authority and the society as a whole. The Center aims to help elderly people remain active, independent and equal citizens in society.  The programs of KAPI focus on team work, equality and socialization and offer its services to all members without any discrimination. 

Its main activities and services include:

1. Entertainment and Creative Occupation (art classes, seminars, cultural events, ect)
2. Physiotherapy
3. Medical and Social Services (psychological support, dietician, nurses, exercise programs, and the Aid at Home program)

The Aid at Home program offers systematic aid to 86 homes of elder people who live alone and are unable to take care of themselves for various reasons.
