The temple of Aghia Triada of Mavrikas was built in the 9^th century and is situated in the Municipality of Agrinio, near the lake of Lysimachia.

Nowadays, the temple is partly sunk into the lake after centuries of ground alterations. The University of Ioannina conducts excavation works in order to drain away the lake waters from the temple area for the preservation of the monument.
